What you’ll handle

Diagnose faults and complete repairs across vehicle systems: steering, electrical, cooling, lubrication, braking, drive trains, suspensions, power-steering units, clutches, and transmissions.

Adjust, test, and when needed rebuild engines; address oil, temperature, and fuel/gas regulating components.

Conduct verification test drives to confirm the concern is resolved.

Coordinate required inspections and obtain approvals prior to releasing vehicles from the shop.

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area that meets all applicable federal, state/provincial, and local regulations.

Document labor time, parts consumed, and all maintenance/repair actions on the designated forms or systems.

Perform road calls and on-site roadside repairs as assigned.

Escalate additional findings and refer tasks that require a higher technician qualification; alert the Lead Technician to any unsafe practices or vehicle abuse.

What you bring2–4 years of medium/heavy truck fleet repair experience.

Strong diagnostic capability with electrical systems and A/C—must-haves for this role.

Hands-on knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment; experience with both diesel and gasoline platforms.

Your own core hand tools appropriate for a Diesel Technician.

Sound judgment and confident decision-making.

Valid state driver’s license with CDL required.

ASE certifications are a plus (not required).Core proficiencies
