Technician - Power or HVAC

• Expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle

• You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel

• You’ll perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors at the shop or in the field.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs

• You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites

• Able to provide a High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience

• Proven to have 2-5 years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs

• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

• Full-time with potential for overtime and/or weekends

• Personal use vehicle

• Robust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and more

• Safety-focused culture working on brand new technology

• Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be onstandbyfor work outside of regularly scheduled shifts

• Must be able to stand,walkand sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices

• Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that willpermitwork to be safely performed from ground / floor level tofull overhead level

• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items,functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders

• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat
