Emergency Shelter Therapist

As a Therapist, you will provide clinical services to youth in our Emergency Shelter, as well as their families when needed.

You will support youth in working through crisis situations and act in conjunction with child and youth services agencies, as well as, community and school partners in the area.

Youth In Need has been around since 1974 helping to create safe places for the area's most vulnerable children. We have more than 400 full‑and‑part‑time staff who serve more than 8,000 children, teens and families at nearly 100 locations in six counties in Eastern Missouri.

We are interested in Therapists with a Master's Degree in Counseling or related and passed the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or Masters in Social Work with LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker). We prefer someone with a PLPC, LPC or LCSW.

This is a salaried position starting at $54,603 (provisionally licensed) and $61,800 (licensed). The ability to be on‑call is required. The schedule for this role is Tuesday‑Saturday. The ability to be CPR certified and a driver's license are required.
