Ensure individual needs of participants are met within program guidelines.
Utilize sound judgment and discretionary skills in accordance with the Gateway Region YMCA policies.
Maintain positive relationships with many diverse people including staff, parents, volunteers and program site administration and demonstrate strong public relation skills.
Ensure YMCA policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Maintain an environment that ensures participant's safety and well-being.
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
Works with director to determine current needs for program.
Ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions.
Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda. .Ensure ADA compliance with federal, state, local and YMCA regulations.
Ensure individual needs of the participants are met and supported while remaining within the approved program parameters.
Implement modifications and adaptations to approved goals as needed
Ensure appropriate programming/support is provided in a 1:1 client ratio
Accurate, timely completion of paperwork required by funders and YMCA Provide opportunities to build self-help and independent skills
Maintain confidentiality and accurately prepare and provide proper records, documentation and files
Communicate professionally and accurately with YMCA staff, participants and families.
Complete and maintain all required certifications

Must be at least 18 years of age0ne to two years related experience preferred
Ability to use typical business software and office equipment
Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications Full Compensation Package (when applicable): 403(b) Retirement Savings Retirement fund of 12% per pay period after completing 1,000 hours of service during any two 12-month period. 20% Discount on tuition at Missouri Baptist University Free individual membership to YMCA nationwide
