Overnight Monitor For The Cooling Center
The Salvation Army Family Haven Shelter is looking for an Overnight Monitor for the cooling center. This individual will perform related duties to assist, monitor, and maintain order of homeless clients occupying the Cooling/Warming Center.
This is a full-time, 20 hours per week, $18.00 per hour temporary seasonal position (June 16, 2026, to September 4, 2026).

Essential FunctionsQualifications
High school or equivalent diploma with three years of experience working in social service agency or five years work experience without a diploma. Higher education in psychology, social work, criminal justice, or other related field is a plus. Must be a team player, a self-starter, and perform well with minimum supervision. Good communication skills are essential, as well as an ability to work with diverse cultures.
Computer skills are desirable.
Must be able to perform the above essential duties. Most work will be indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. Must be able to provide transportation of clients as need per the Supervisor.
