The Camp Manager roles will provide a quality experience for individuals with developmental disabilities (13 years and up) at a residential camping facility for two weekends a month.
Assistant Camp Manager (575 $ / weekend)Assists in the implementation of leisure opportunities (team and individual sports, games, arts and crafts); supervises staff and participants; and provides direct support (dressing, showering, toileting, eating, transferring, communication) to participants. Weekend activities focus around participants’ personal goals and individualized support plan.
Camp Manager (625 $ / weekend)In addition to the duties of the Assistant Camp Manager, the role manages support staff, assists with problem solving, conflict resolution, communication with parents, and maintains a clean and positive atmosphere when the Coordinator is not present.

The flexible, respectful individual we seek is an innovative and quick thinker with the following qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in special education, social work, occupational or recreation therapy, health and/or human services is helpful)
- Three or more years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or related camping experience
- Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and auto insurance

- Must be flexible and calm in changing environments/plans and accept direction/corrections well.
- CPR/FA certification (provided by St. Louis Arc at no cost)
