Location: St. Louis

Step into an engaging role supporting students as a School Psychologist in the greater Saint Louis, MO area! This flexible, school-based contract position spans the academic year (August 24, 2026 May 28, 2027), with onsite assignments across up to two schools within either the Hazelwood or Bayless districts. Dedicated district support and reasonable caseloads allow you to make a meaningful difference without becoming overwhelmed.

In this position, youll take the lead on assessments and evaluations central to Child Find, producing thorough reports that guide critical student interventions. Caseloads for this assignment typically range from 3040 students and may cover elementary and high school only, or K12, depending on school assignment.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Missouri Department of Education School Psychologist certification
  • Recent experience conducting student evaluations, psycho-educational assessments, and reports in a school environment
  • Strong skills in collaborative problem-solving with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of Child Find and its application in special education
  • Willingness to complete required credentialing including drug screening and fingerprinting
  • Availability for a brief virtual prescreen interview (provide a preferred time between 911a or 23p EST, flexible as needed)
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Complete comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
  • Prepare evaluative reports for eligibility and intervention planning
  • Collaborate with staff and families to implement individualized supports
  • Maintain accurate case management and documentation
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings as needed
  • Deliver services with compassion and professionalism across diverse student populations
