Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide student counseling services at a school facility in St. Louis, MO.

The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide counseling services in accordance with established guidelines, school procedures, and standards of practice.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited social work program, or an acceptable doctoral degree in social work.
  • Current Missouri license as required by Chapter 324 Revised Missouri Statutes (RSMo).
  • School-based experience/ Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical social work services to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, social, or family-related challenges.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify students’ needs, strengths, risk factors, and appropriate support services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans based on student needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional well-being, coping skills, social development, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school-based professionals, families, and other members of the student support team to coordinate services.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute social work expertise to student support planning and, as applicable, IEP-related services.
  • Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and appropriate follow-up for students experiencing emotional or behavioral crises.
  • Connect students and families with appropriate community resources, behavioral health services, and other supportive programs when additional services are needed.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical and student records in accordance with applicable professional, school, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as appropriate, and communicate relevant updates and recommendations to the appropriate members of the student support team.
