Our company partner is a venture-backed, multi-faceted financial services firm building a next-generation, web-based Portfolio Management System (PMS) and Turnkey Asset Management Platform (TAMP) for RIAs across the United States. The firm is seeking a Platform Engineer Lead to lead technical product direction and day-to-day platform management. This position is open to mid to high-level candidates (7+ years' total experience preferred) with a deep understanding of modern web and mobile technologies.

You will work in close partnership with remote teams out of India, focusing on technical excellence, workflow integrity, mentorship, and operational support for the organization’s latest platform.

• Serve as the internal project manager and product owner.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project roadmaps to translate UI/UX needs into platform features and requirements.
• Ensure product goals align with overall business objectives.
• Translate client and business needs into detailed technical specifications.
• Work in an Agile – sprint environment.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and support team deliverables.
• Architect, maintain, and update the core platform using Java, React, Flutter, and Angular.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting expertise, and code-level support.
• Mentor developers and promote best practices in coding, testing, and agile software delivery.
• Oversee software quality assurance and ensure scalable and maintainable codebases.
• Facilitate cross-functional team support with the India-based development team, including onboarding, process optimization, and team communications.
• Manage sprint planning, timelines, QA testing, and launch milestones.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, product management, or technical leadership roles.
• Experience in fintech/financial services product management, platform development, or SaaS operations.
• Experience with RIA/TAMP platforms or financial advisor tech stacks.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Java, React and Angular (at least 3+ years in two or more).
• Solid understanding of web and mobile application development, RESTful APIs.
• 5+ years of experience designing or implementing UX/UI, including experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools, and closely collaborating with designers.
• Absolute commitment to accessibility, usability testing, pixel‑perfect responsive layouts, and web design best practices.
• Experience with distributed/global development teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; supportive, process‑driven approach.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and business teams.

• Experience with a major TAMP or Portfolio Management System like Envestnet, Smart
  
  X, Geo Wealth, Asset Mark, Adhesion Wealth, Orion, Black Diamond, Advyzon, Circle Black.
• Familiarity with Mongo
  
  DB and Flutter.
• Background in financial services or multi‑platform engineering.
