Overview
Java Architect with 10+ years of experience in system installation, configuration and operations and 8+ years in software or DB development focusing on Java development tools and technologies.
Responsibilities- As a Java Architect, you will be the development lead on the client projects.
- Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to architecture including directing the design team, reviewing drafts, and approving design changes.
- Support high availability web applications by developing analytical models and completing validation tests.
- Coordinate with the client technical architecture team for review and approval of system architecture; hands-on experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Align with modern agile development methodologies and practices.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Create, maintain and govern architectural views and blueprints depicting the enterprise and IT landscape in its current, transitional and future state.
- Recommend long-term direction on strategic advancements within the technical portfolio.
- Build a community of practice for solutions architecture while leveraging architectural tools, processes and practices.
- Define and maintain standards for artifacts containing architectural content within the operating model.
- Offer insight, guidance and direction on the usage of emerging trends and technical capabilities.
- 10+ years of experience with system installation, configuration and operations.
- 8+ years of software or DB development with a focus on Java development tools and technologies.
- Java:
Collections, Threading, JDBC, Hibernate, EJB. - Spring Boot REST services;
Microservices. - Web services / APIs.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Experience working with modern agile development methodologies and practices.
- Strong verbal and written facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills.
