• Develop and maintain a secure, reliable, scalable, and efficient platform spanning back-end persistence and compute, APIs, and web applications
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet business requirements
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical growth and development
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and engineering practices

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one strongly typed language, with a willingness to work in Type Script
• Minimum 3 years of experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Extensive experience with back‑end technologies, No
  
  SQL and/or SQL databases, React, Type Script, and Node.js
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring engineers
• Proficiency with AI‑enabled software development and adaptability to evolving best practices
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience with GraphQL
• Knowledge of serverless architectures, event‑driven systems, and microservices
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including AWS CDK
• Experience building agentic AI solutions
• Experience developing software for tax, accounting, or compliance‑driven industries such as healthcare or finance
• Experience building multi‑tenant SaaS applications
• Experience in a technical leadership role

Compensation ranges for this position vary by location:

• Colorado: $125,900 – $148,100
• Washington, Illinois, New York, Southern California: $138,500 – $162,900
• Northern California: $144,800 – $170,300
