Kentro is hiring for a cleared, mid-level Software Engineer to support a government client.
Location:
Onsite, Saint Louis, MO Responsibilities
* Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
* Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
* Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
* May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
* May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Qualifications
* 5-7 years of relevant experience to include, but not limited to:
* Proficiency in at least one major language (Python, Java, C#, Java script)
* Experience translating requirements into technical solutions
* Experience in research, design, and development of software
* Experience with testing, deployment, and maintenance
* Experience developing system specifications and performance requirements
* Experience with database design and maintenance
* Experience in code reviews
* Understanding of system integration (hardware/software interaction) Clearance Requirement:
* Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to take CI Polygraph
