• Work with Product Engineering teams to deliver functional requirements and ensure features are built to specifications.
• Contribute hands‑on (20–30%) to code writing, review, debugging,designing and evolving APIs, and delivering scalable platform services.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers, fostering professional growth and development.
• Build architecture design, ensure quality, influence product roadmap,and introduce new technologies while owning new projects.
• Partner with Product, Security, Architecture, and Operations to align engineering execution with business outcomes.
• Identify bottlenecks, reduce technical debt, and drive scalability,resilience, and cost‑efficiency.
• Define and track KPIs (deployment frequency, MTTR, test coverage,SLA adherence) to balance speed with quality.
• Maintain deep understanding of software development technologies,tendencies, and best practices, providing technical guidance.
• Oversee and manage on‑call incidents, troubleshooting critical disruptions to minimize downtime.
• Drive adoption of modern development practices, tools, and frameworks to improve productivity and product quality.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
• Champion innovation and experimentation, encouraging exploration of new technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Management on brainstorming sessions andassist in writing requirements for technical debt.
• Report accomplishments, goals, issues, and deliverable statuses to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
• Establish performance goals for all direct reports.
• Continue education on management philosophies, banking industry knowledge, and sector‑specific applications.

• Strong hands‑on experience in .NET, Java, C#, Linux Container Development, k8s, MVC, SaaS, SOA, Postgre
  
  SQL, MS SQL Server,Modern Java script Frameworks, Entity Framework, microservices.
• Proven experience building and delivering SaaS‑based software with modern system architecture, such as microservice‑based architecture and cloud‑native applications.
• Experience with one of the Cloud Service providers (AWS, Azure,Google Cloud Platform).
• Solid understanding of Operational Excellence, including
  
  Dev/Ops, CI/CD, Automated Testing, Observabilities, and real‑time processing with event‑driven architecture.
• Experience with Observability tools like Grafana, New Relic, Haystack.
• Experience building complex role‑based access and entitlement systems.
• Ability to make data‑driven decisions, evaluate trade‑offs, and prioritize projects efficiently.
• Experience building scalable systems that are operationally efficient.
• Leadership: demonstrated experience in motivating cross‑functional teams, setting expectations, fostering collaboration and inclusion.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of troubleshooting complex issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent work streams and global teams across time zones.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing software engineer teams.
• Proficiency in Lean‑Agile development methodologies (Kanban or Scrum).
• Preferred experience in fintech, digital banking, or regulated industries. Knowledge of treasury management, cash positioning,liquidity management, commercial payments (ACH, wires), and reconciliation. Familiarity with banking data formats such as ISO
  20022, BAI2, MT940, and EDI 820.

• 15+ years of experience in software development or similar engineering fields.
• 5+ years in managing engineering teams.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience.

The salary range for this position is: $160,000 - $180,000.
