Software Engineer, Unix​/Linux

LSEG is a leading global financial markets data provider. Within our Data and Analytics division, the Real‑Time Distribution Development team designs and improves high‑throughput, low‑latency software that powers financial data distribution across on‑prem and cloud platforms.

• Design and implement software modules in C++, including unit, integration, and performance testing, and manage software packaging and configuration.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Contribute to product documentation such as technical specifications, software manuals, and unit test plans.
• Assist in resolving field problems as needed.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to write Robot Framework test cases using Python‑based keywords.

• 3+ years of computer software development experience.
• Experience in C++ and/or other object‑oriented languages in a multi‑threaded, real‑time streaming environment.
• Strong working experience and troubleshooting skills in Linux.
• Familiarity with network programming and knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, and multicast protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) is a plus.

• Base salary range: $95,700 – $159,700 (may vary by location).
• Eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan (bonus) with target rates commensurate with role level.
