Duties And Responsibilities- Leading the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology
- Developing coding best practices, playbooks, frameworks and solutions for our customers and internal team
- Working with our team to create great products for our customers
- Writing clean, maintainable and performance code
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Helping to drive, document and continually refine platform standards
- Helping to drive new tech research and experimentation
- Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
- Minimum of five (5) years of Word Press development experience
- Minimum of five (5) years writing PHP
- Experience with at least one PHP framework like Symphony, Laravel, Code Igniter or an understanding of PHP-open source projects like Word Press, Joomla or Drupal
- Knowledge working with common third-party APIs
- Experience with source control such as Git or Mercurial
- Experience in guiding and mentoring junior developers
- Flexibility in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities
- Technically creative and open-minded
- Experience working at a digital agency
- Ability to solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working on PC platform
- Detail oriented and focus on quality assurance of work
- Online portfolio or personal website with samples of relevant work a plus
