Position Overview
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an Application Administrator. We are seeking a Programmer Analyst to support a portfolio of applications used by our operations department. This role is a mix of application support, enhancement development, and system integration work. A key objective of this role is knowledge transfer from senior team members. We currently have applications supported by only 1 or 2 people, and we require support to be shared more widely.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in collaboration with end users.
- Develop and maintain integrations (APIs, data interfaces, and system workflows).
- Implement application configuration changes and minor enhancements.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (system flows, support procedures, configurations).
- Develop and execute test plans for enhancements and fixes.
- Collaborate with business analysts and users to establish and clarify requirements.
- Follow established ITIL-based support and change management processes.
- Custom Java/Spring Boot integration,

- IBM Maximo (EAM)
- Telog and Granite Net
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4-7 years of experience in application development, support, or a similar role.
- Experience working with Java (Spring Boot preferred).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work directly with end users to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Experience with enterprise asset management systems (e.g., Maximo).
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, or middleware platforms.
- Experience supporting multiple applications in an operational environment.
- Familiarity with utility, infrastructure, or public sector environments.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
