Full Stack Developer

WCBinc is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support our customers in either Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO. You will design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end solutions for our clients while prioritizing user experience and career growth.

• Utilize defined software processes, such as Agile, to work in a rapid development environment as part of a development team.
• Design, code, and unit‑test front‑end and back‑end solutions for integrated systems using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Go, SQL.
• Develop integration code to connect and interface systems and services.
• Create solutions that use open standards and ICDs to promote interoperability through service‑based architectures.
• Analyze, fix, and document defects on systems.
• Rapidly prototype or mock up solution designs, look, feel and aesthetics.
• Prepare documentation for all developed solutions.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to development.
• Analyze user feedback against current system designs and requirements and produce system updates that reflect that feedback.

• 5 years of professional web‑development experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with both front‑end and back‑end programming languages and SQL/No‑SQL database technologies. Desired:
  ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, PostgreSQL. Alternatives:
  VueJS, Go, MySQL, Elastic Search.
• Experience working in Agile environments and facilitating sessions across teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to advocate design principles and approach.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• Knowledge of user‑centered design/human‑centered design principles.
• Knowledgeable about Web Accessibility requirements.
• Ability to adapt to challenges in a changing environment and manage expectations of customers and multiple teams.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities.
• Self‑motivated individual.
• US citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
