Edward Jones seeks a Senior Platform Engineer / Mule Soft Platform Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable integration solutions supporting critical finance and insurance systems. You will own Mule Soft platform architecture, API design, and integration patterns, ensuring security, reliability, and performance for client-facing applications. Responsibilities include leading platform upgrades, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability; partnering with security, application, and business teams;

mentoring engineers; and driving best practices for integration governance in a regulated financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and own Mule

• Develop, secure, and maintain APIs and integrations for financial systems
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation for the integration platform
• Ensure performance, reliability, and observability of integration services
• Collaborate with security, application, and business teams on integration solutions
• Lead platform upgrades, migrations, and environment configuration
• Establish and enforce integration governance, standards, and best practices
• Mentor and coach engineers on Mule
