Requirements

7+ years software engineering experience with enterprise systems, including 5+ years of Java development and integration
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and microservices using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Batch
Ability to design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain technical assets in an SOA environment
UML skills and ability to facilitate OO/J2EE design, following best practices and design patterns
Experience integrating with and managing APIs that expose microservices (REST, SOAP), including development and support of Java/JavaScript services
Solid understanding of Enterprise Service Bus concepts
IBM Data Power and API gateways
UML modeling and the Eclipse IDE
Familiarity with Web Sphere, JBoss, and Tomcat
Authentication and authorization protocols (SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL)
Comfort with scripting languages such as Unix shell scripting or Perl
Experience with cloud and continuous integration tooling (SVN/Git, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, etc.), Kafka for real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures, integrating with AWS services such as SQS and SES
Familiarity with event-based System of Engagement architectures
Implementing caching solutions with Redis
