Assist head coach with organization and supervision of the Field Hockey program including: coaching and teaching both instructional skills and team concepts; recruiting qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success; maintaining compliance with NCAA, Atlantic 10 and university rules and regulations; managing the team budget; organizing and directing camps, clinics, and fundraising activities; and other duties as assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assists head coach in managing team practices; assists in teaching tactical concepts including offensive and defensive strategies; provides one-on-one and group instruction; assists in planning/liaison to sports performance; evaluate student-athlete performance in both practice and competition.
Performs recruiting related activities: compliance coordination; assists with on-campus visits; travel for off-campus recruiting and evaluation; ability to identify student-athletes capable of succeeding both athletically and academically.
Assists head coach in the preparation and design of practice plans and game strategies; collection and analysis of scouting reports on opponents; and team related travel.
Assists with planning and coordination of activities that promote community engagement (e.g., camps, clinics, service, and fundraising).
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with two (2) years of playing/coaching experience at the high school, collegiate or professional level
