This position will support customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day‑to‑day provisioning, spares, maintenance and/or repair activities. They will keep operations on track and your career in motion as a Logistics Analyst Senior r work supporting supply chain and logistics at GDIT will power global missions and your long‑term career growth.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT: As a Logistics Analyst Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Veterans Affairs. You will play a crucial role in logistics for the contract and customer relationships with the onsite customer NPRC and VA, as well as the onsite scanning vendor.
- Lead/Manage/Support: Primary responsibility will be to manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments at the NPRC to ensure shipments are received/delivered successfully and adhere to shipping guidelines.
- Collaborate: With onsite and offsite scanning vendors, NPRC and VA customers.
- Drive Efficiency: Ensure seamless, efficient, and reliable movement of materials through proactive planning, precise coordination, and commitment to continuous improvement in all logistics operations. Thrive in dynamic environments, drive to anticipate challenges, resolve issues quickly, and maintain uninterrupted logistics operations under tight deadlines.
- Utilize: Microsoft Applications, SharePoint, SMTS, VBMS, Share Applications/programs.
- Contribute Guidance: Provide guidance to the completion of advanced logistics projects.
- Demand Forecasting: Perform advanced demand forecasting, distribution planning, supply chain modeling and design.
- Lead Sub‑Contractors: Provide guidance to less experienced Logistics Analysts and subcontractors. Resolve advanced supplier quality issues and support desired supplier capability.
- Identify Opportunities: Identify advanced logistics opportunities for process improvements, inventory reductions, and cost savings.
- Mentor: May serve as a mentor or lead to less experienced analysts (not a people manager).

- Education: Associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

Skills:
Inventory control methodologies, warehouse management systems, inventory accuracy, material handling procedures, barcode/RFID systems, demand planning and forecasting tools, root cause analysis. - Attributes for Success: Good communication, problem‑solving, and team‑oriented skills.
- Security Clearance Level: Must be clearable for a VA public trust.

The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $74,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
