Position Summary
The Supervisor of Campus Transportation and Parking Operations is responsible for the daily management, coordination, and optimization of the universitys parking and transportation systems. This role oversees enforcement staff, parking facilities, shuttle operations, and transportation partnerships, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused services for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Supervisor also leverages operational metrics and data to drive continuous improvement in logistics, utilization, and service delivery.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of campus parking and transportation services, including enforcement staff, parking facilities, and shuttle operations
- Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff; ensure adequate coverage and high customer service standards
- Enforce parking regulations consistently and professionally; resolve escalated customer issues
- Oversee parking facilities (lots and garages), including inspections, maintenance coordination, signage, access systems, and safety compliance
- Partner with facilities and vendors to address repairs, striping, lighting, snow removal, and infrastructure needs
- Manage campus shuttle operations, including routing, schedules, and service reliability
- Coordinate and monitor third-party transportation providers to ensure contract compliance and service quality
- Analyze operational data (occupancy, ridership, citations, staffing, revenue) to improve efficiency, utilization, and resource allocation
- Develop reports and recommend operational improvements and policy updates
- Plan and coordinate parking and transportation logistics for campus events, including demand forecasting and traffic flow
- Maintain fleet and asset records; coordinate preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operations
- Collaborate with campus partners on transportation planning, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support implementation and optimization of parking and transportation systems and technology
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Must abide by all state and local driving laws.
- Associates degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Two or more years of related work experience
- Must possess a valid class E Missouri drivers license or state equivalent
- Ability to meet university requirements for vehicle operation and background screening including drug screening
