R Route Driver

Location
St. Louis, MO - Filling industrial
- Vehicle Operation:
Operate a Class A and B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders, as well as hard goods, along designated routes. - Customer Service:
Collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries to ensure complete satisfaction. - Documentation:
Record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures. - Logistics:
Handle the loading and unloading of all materials. - Safety and Maintenance:
Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, noting any issues to ensure full safety compliance and maintaining the vehicle's condition. - Professionalism:
Maintain a professional appearance and serve as a representative of the company during all deliveries.
- Must have a valid Class A CDL.
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Card.
- Must have the Hazmat Endorsement.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.
- Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
- DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.
- Ability to routinely lift or move around 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace.
- Adherence to safety regulations and policies.
- Flexible to work overtime as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Experience
- Touch freight delivery experience
