Position Overview

The Dino's Trucking Local Class A CDL Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer freight throughout the Greater St. Louis area using 53' dry van and refrigerated trailers. This position is responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), company policies, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience
Safe driving record
Ability to meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and customer service

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Safely operate a tractor-trailer in compliance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
Transport and deliver customer freight throughout the Greater St. Louis area.
Complete all required DOT, company, and customer documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain communication with Dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, and any issues affecting service.
Perform required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, reporting any maintenance concerns promptly.
Verify load accuracy and secure freight before departure.
Load and unload freight when required.
Maintain accurate Hours of Service and electronic logs.
Work professionally with customers, dispatch, maintenance, and fellow team members to provide exceptional service.
