Inventory/Storeroom Worker

Full Time – Benefits eligible.
Shift options
: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday. Requires familiarity with Excel.

Job Description

Perform a variety of food service inventory functions including receipt and distribution of raw products/materials, storage of food, inventory maintenance, ordering, security, and unloading deliveries. Must adhere to quality control standards, HACCP, food code regulations, and FSMA guidelines. Operate motorized equipment such as pallet jack and pallet stacker, requiring certification.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and move raw food products and non-food supplies from warehouse/storeroom to production locations and delivery/distribution points while utilizing motorized equipment and following safe food handling guidelines.
  • Accurately fill requisitions from various departments throughout the hospital and satellite areas to provide food and non-food supplies.
  • Order raw food products, paper products, chemicals, and other supplies through computerized ordering systems; perform inventory counts, reconcile records, and conduct visual checks of on-hand materials.
  • Maintain inventory for storerooms, kitchen coolers, and freezers.
  • Keep storerooms, coolers, freezers, and transportation devices clean, sanitary, and orderly; demonstrate knowledge of safety processes, food code regulations, HACCP guidelines, and FSMA guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
Supervisor Experience
  • No prior supervisory experience required.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
