Job Overview
Warehouse Associate (Shift: 8:00am–4:30pm, Saturday–Wednesday)
Essential Responsibilities- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
- Stage deliveries and store all products in designated locations.
- Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.
- Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping.
- Obtain appropriate and authorized signatures on paperwork.
- Assist in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
- Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
- Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment; may operate specialized equipment to move and distribute freight.
- Maintain grounds by picking up papers and trash, cleaning the parking lot and entrance, and keeping stock and merchandise area organized and clean.
- Mop, sweep, wash offices, bathrooms, warehouse floors, truck docks, and aisles to ensure cleanliness.; remove trash daily by emptying containers, transporting materials to disposal and recycling areas.
- Clean and sanitize products per company standard operating procedure.
- Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
- Follow all company policies and execute company standards on appearance and functionality and appropriate brand representation.
- Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.
- Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by the supervisor.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the company.
Lift or move over 100 pounds; frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing; use of hands and fingers; reaching with hands and arms; stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling occasionally; sight is required.
Education & ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred. 1+ years of general warehouse experience preferred.
Skills- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Time‑management skills to ensure completion of work.
- Knowledge of general warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of the equipment and function of powered industrial trucks.
- Competitive pay rate of $18.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular time.
- Base pay or uncapped commission may be available for eligible leadership and individual‑contributor roles.
