Job Overview

Position:
Warehouse/Forklift Seasonal

Hours:

20-34 hrs/week, 5am-1:30pm inbound

Average 3-4 days per week

End Date:
September 2026

Pay Range: $19.96 - 28.2 USD per hour based on experience

• Perform core warehouse processes: picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing goods with focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Execute daily operations using available systems and tools to support efficient workflows and maintain data integrity.
• Unload, process, and handle inbound and outbound merchandise safely and secure goods for proper movement throughout the distribution center.
• Identify, document, and remove any damages found or caused during handling of merchandise.
• Contribute to goal setting for overall warehouse operations and support implementation of local business plans and improvement projects.
• Analyze daily and seasonal workload demands to ensure efficient volume handling and resource planning.
• Support high goods availability through timely and precise execution of assigned tasks.
• Work in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious manner, sharing good practices to optimize daily operations.
• Follow all IKEA health, safety, and security rules, actively preventing incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, and products.
• Collaborate with colleagues and take responsibility for additional tasks or projects as assigned.

• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30 kg ergonomically. Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
