US Foods is one of the largest food distributors with a culture and history of promoting from within, excellent training programs and a continuous improvement focus. Our Night Shift Selectors start at $21.50/hr and can increase to $26.50/hr, plus incentive pay when moved to production.

• Safely and accurately select customer orders, build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre‑shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that the correct product has been selected and is damage free.
• Efficiently deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink‑wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets from slots in aisle, and return pallet jacks to the charging area.

• Comfortable working in a multi‑temperature environment ranging from
  -5°F to over 100°F.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift is required.

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job‑related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday, with occasional weekends and holidays required.
• Recent experience (within the past 6 months) in high‑endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred, e.g., lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large‑scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Experience operating a motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $21.50 and $26.50. This role may also receive overtime and incentive compensation.
