Inventory Control Clerk

US Foods is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk to support our wholesale food distribution center. In this role, you will perform daily cycle counts, verify product quantities and locations, reconcile variances, and help maintain accurate inventory records in our WMS. You'll investigate discrepancies, prepare basic reports, assist with audits, and coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and transportation teams. Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and spot checks to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Record and reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes
• Update inventory data in Warehouse Management System and spreadsheets
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and transportation teams on inventory issues
• Support physical inventories and internal or external audits
• Verify product locations, lot codes, and rotation (FIFO) in accordance with standards
• Prepare basic inventory reports for supervisors and management
• Operate material handling equipment safely when needed
• Follow all safety, food handling, and company policies in the warehouse
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency
