Chemisphere Corp. is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team in St. Louis, MO. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory, housekeeping, inspections, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including wrapping pallets, verifying orders, pallet tagging, packaging, and labeling.
- Verify inbound shipments, including drums, totes, pails, and packaging materials.
- Operate floor sweeper and perform routine warehouse housekeeping.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning, safety, restroom, and breakroom supplies.
- Perform routine inspections of eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, lighting, and glass/brittle plastic.
- Assist with directing traffic and drivers to appropriate dock locations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse/inventory systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work occasional weekends as needed.
- Some weekend work may be required based on business needs.
