Material Handler

Job Summary
 We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler / Forklift Operator to support daily operations by moving, loading, unloading, and staging materials throughout the facility. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient production and shipping processes.
 The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity. Candidates with experience as a Forklift Operator, Warehouse Associate, Shipping and Receiving Associate, Material Handler, or Warehouse Worker are encouraged to apply.
 Responsibilities
 Material Handling & Forklift Operations
 Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
 Stage materials for production, shipping, and storage areas.
 Move raw materials, finished goods, and scrap to designated locations.
 Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
 Maintain proper material flow to support production schedules.
 Verify incoming and outgoing materials against paperwork and report discrepancies.
 Equipment & Inventory Control
 Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.
 Ensure accurate movement and storage of materials.
 Maintain inventory accuracy and organization within the warehouse.
 Safety & Housekeeping
 Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
 Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
 Wear required PPE and comply with all safety standards.
 Support a team-oriented and productive work environment.
 Qualifications
 Required
 Previous forklift experience required.
 Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified.
 Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
 Reliable attendance and punctuality.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
 Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
 Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
 Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
 Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
 Work Environment
 Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
 Exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment.
 PPE required, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and other required protective equipment.
