Machining Utility – Automotive Manufacturing (Day & Night Shifts Available)
We're hiring a Machining Utility team member to support our automotive manufacturing operations! In this role, you'll assist machine operators, keep materials flowing, perform basic quality checks, and help keep machines and work areas clean and running smoothly. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply — we're willing to train the right person.
Pay: $21.20/hour
Shift 1: 6:50 AM – 7:00 PM
Shift 2: 11:50 PM – 8:00 AM
What You'll Do- Support CNC and machining operations by loading/unloading parts and materials
- Assist machine operators with setup support, tool changes, and part handling
- Perform basic quality inspections using gauges, calipers, or visual checks
- Remove scrap, chips, and debris from machines and work areas
- Stage raw materials and finished parts to keep production flowing
- Complete production and quality documentation as required
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S/6S housekeeping standards
- Assist with preventative maintenance and machine cleaning as assigned
- Manufacturing or machining experience preferred (entry-level welcome!)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and a team-oriented mindset
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with CNC machining operations
- Experience using basic measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Forklift or material handling experience
- Automotive manufacturing facility
- Exposure to noise, oils, metal shavings, and moving machinery
- PPE required at all times
