American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging, requiring ARRT or NMTCB CT certification and a Kentucky radiography/CT license.

• Work in the CT Scan department
• 4x10 hour day shifts
• Uses EPIC and Enterprise Imaging (EI) systems for study completion and documentation

• Associate's degree from a JRCERT accredited Radiology Program, or military training graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program validated by active ARRT Certification
• Current BLS certification
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography or Computed Tomography license required if applicable
• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) Certification or NMTCB Computed Tomography (CT) Certification
• No prior experience required

• Execute computed tomography imaging with limited supervision
• Gather patient histories and prepare necessary information for patient records
• Assist radiologist with invasive procedures and administer contrast media per physician direction and department policy
• Manipulate computerized image data for interpretation and archiving
• Perform quality control on assigned equipment and maintain supply stock
• Verify patient identity and orders, monitor patients throughout exams, and follow radiation safety protocols
• Transport patients in a secondary capacity when needed
• Report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
• Maintain a clean, professional department environment and adhere to dress code
• Participate in training and in-service activities as needed
• Accepts local candidates at a lower rate; 75-mile radius rule applies for travel rate eligibility
