RN PRN, GI Specialty Mixed Acuity Unit, As Needed
A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients, focusing on safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes. The RN assists in maintaining a financially stable unit, promotes evidence-based practice, and mentors/precepts staff. The RN applies the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care, and oversees licensed and non-licensed staff members.
ResponsibilitiesThe RN is responsible for providing safe and effective patient care, assessing and developing individualized care plans, implementing and evaluating these plans, maintaining unit financial stability, mentoring/precepting staff, and ensuring a high standard of patient and family comfort and satisfaction.
Qualifications- No experience required for full-time or part-time positions. For PRN, at least one year of RN/LPN experience in an inpatient, acute-care setting.
- Diploma or Associate Nursing degree.
- Registered Nurse license in Kentucky.
