American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active KY or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 0.8 FTE position

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with care team members
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety measures

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination for ED patients
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities
• Deliver patient and family-centered education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and delegate tasks appropriately
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Promote a healing environment through evidence-based nursing practices
