Public Service Internship - Mondale-Humphrey Program

Join the State of Minnesota's Mondale-Humphrey Scholars program as an intern in Fall 2026. This hybrid internship allows undergraduate students from diverse majors to enrich their knowledge in state governance.

Three undergraduate interns are being sought for a 10–12 week internship commencing January 2026. This program is crafted for students looking to gain insights into public service without a focus on law school. You'll work closely with various professionals, aiding in tasks that shape policy and enhance state services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research relevant policies affecting Minnesotans

• Work with legal and non-legal staff on projects

• Compile and analyze information for decision-making

• Assist in writing proposals and communications

• Engage in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled undergraduate at an accredited institution

• Strong academic performance and writing capabilities

• Excellent judgement and work ethic

• Ability to work effectively in inclusive settings

• Background check required for hiring
