Accounting Specialist

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a team in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for managing high-volume accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a long-term contract position that requires exceptional organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities:

- Process a high volume of invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Manage accounts receivable tasks, including billing and account reconciliation.

- Utilize AP and AR systems/software, such as Oracle, SAP ERP, and Net Suite, to streamline processes.

- Apply advanced Excel formulas and tools to organize and analyze financial data.

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and deadlines for financial transactions.

- Communicate professionally and clearly with stakeholders to address inquiries and provide updates.

- Perform bank reconciliations and coding invoices as part of daily accounting functions.

- Handle transactional-level tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.

- Proficiency in accounting software systems such as Oracle, SAP ERP, and Net Suite.

- Strong ability to manage high-volume invoice processing efficiently.

- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.

- Familiarity with digital workflows and paperless environments.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.

- Clear and detail-oriented communication skills for interacting with teams and stakeholders.

- Effective time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
