Overview
The City of Saint Paul Regional Water Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant III to join our Finance team. This position leads core accounting operations, including Accounts Payable and Payroll, and ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with governmental accounting standards, and effective stewardship of public resources.
Responsibilities- Lead core accounting operations including Accounts Payable and Payroll
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with governmental accounting standards
- Support capital projects and capital asset management
- Maintain strong internal controls across financial operations
- Collaborate with internal departments to support financial operations
- Technical accounting expertise
- Leadership experience
- Background in capital asset management
- Experience in governmental or utility environment preferred
