• Prepare and analyze accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead the month‑end and year‑end close process.
• Perform complex general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports and analysis for executive leadership.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational accounting policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support the annual audit by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
• Manage fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other complex accounting functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Mentor and support members of the accounting team as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive senior‑level accounting experience.
• Expert‑level experience preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Extensive experience with complex account reconciliations and general ledger accounting.
• Strong background creating ad hoc financial reports for executive leadership.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and complex financial formulas.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Net Suite, or similar.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly and confidently to leadership.

• CPA designation.
• Healthcare, senior living, or nonprofit accounting experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and audit preparation.
• Proven ability to improve financial processes and drive operational efficiencies.
