Sr. Accountant

Description

We're seeking an experienced Accountant to join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in project billing, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. This is more than a traditional accounting position-you'll serve as a key business partner to other business units- providing financial insight that helps drive successful projects and business decisions.

Requirements - 3+ years of accounting experience, with demonstrated background in project accounting or contract-based financial management.

- Hands-on experience with month-end close processes and maintaining accurate financial records.

- Strong understanding of general ledger activity, revenue and cost tracking, and financial reporting principles.

- Ability to analyze project budgets, billing, and margin performance with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, engineering, and program management.

- Proficiency in organizing large volumes of financial data and producing clear, actionable reporting.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to support audit requests and explain financial results to business partners.
