Corporate Accountant
Location: St. Paul, MN (Hybrid: 4 Days Onsite Per Week)
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
Our client, a rapidly growing consumer products manufacturer, is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their finance team in St. Paul, Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to a growing organization. The role offers exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, fixed assets, cash management, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
This position is primarily onsite, with team members working from the St. Paul office four days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Support the monthly financial close process, including preparing journal entries and completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform cash management activities, account reconciliations, and related reporting
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals
- Help ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Assist with external audit requests by preparing supporting schedules and documentation
- Participate in ERP, HRIS, and other system implementations or enhancements
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to support business operations and decision-making
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing, consumer products, food production, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis
- Experience with ERP systems;
Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
