Revenue Accounting Manager

• Lead AR specialists managing billing, collections, and revenue reporting
• Oversee daily revenue operations to ensure billing accuracy and consistency
• Delegate transactional accounting tasks across business divisions to balance workloads
• Establish standardized billing processes and performance targets across the team
• Partner with operations teams to streamline contract processing and cash application
• Monitor deferred revenue schedules and transaction coding for proper recognition
• Evaluate revenue-related transactions to ensure compliance with corporate policies
• Design KPI dashboards tracking collections, AR aging, and cash flow
• Deliver actionable financial insights and revenue trend analysis to leadership
• Manage month-end revenue close procedures and deferred revenue reconciliation schedules
• Collaborate with sales teams to resolve customer billing inquiries and contract issues
• Manage external auditor requests for revenue recognition and bad debt testing
• Support enterprise software upgrades, integrations, and automated billing tools
• Maintain internal control documentation across the entire order-to-cash cycle

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of public and industry accounting experience
• 1+ year of experience managing a team

• Salary Range: $140,000–$155,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.

This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
