Full Charge Bookkeeper

This is a smaller family owned company and this Full Charge Bookkeeper will be doing A to Z reporting to ownership. They are ideally seeking someone that enjoys being in the office but they are open to someone that requires hybrid as well.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
• Manage day to day accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
• Creating company payrolls through Paychex
• Coordinate with other team members as needed to manage business unit job costing
• Assist with ad hoc financial projects and reporting as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
