Minnesota Connections Academy (MNCA) is a tuition‑free, online public charter school for students in grades K‑12 throughout Minnesota. MNCA is a member of the Minnesota Transitions Charter School (MTCS), a K‑12 academic community. MNCA is a state‑approved online program operated through a contract with Connections Academy of Minnesota, LLC, to provide the educational program and other services. MNCA is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, an accrediting division of AdvancED.
PositionSummary
Working from Minnesota, the Administrative Assistant II is responsible for daily administrative tasks of the school such as answering phones and email, data entry, and mass mailings, among other duties as assigned. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days required in the St. Paul, MN office.
Responsibilities- Assisting the administrative team with a wide variety of tasks
- Managing and entering student information into state reporting system
- Providing support to the leadership team
- Acting as a liaison between Pearson and the leadership team
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office and web-based applications)
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Customer focused approach
- High degree of flexibility
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
