Primary PurposeAssist campus special education staff with routine clerical and office duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills Education/Certification- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Assessment Standard:
Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel. - Ability to use personal computer and software.
- Ability to operate various office equipment (copier/fax machine).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with people effectively.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to lift and transport records/materials to designated areas.
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings and conferences with parents and school personnel.
- Assist with various office duties (i.e. type, file, copy materials, answer telephone).
- Perform necessary computer skills as requested by Campus IEP Specialist/Campus Diagnostician (i.e. word processing, database, and Special Education Management software).
- Prepare and maintain confidential records.
- Interact with and provide assistance to teachers, students, principals, district personnel, parents, and community volunteers.
- Have required reliable transportation between campuses during the day.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Work with frequent interruptions.
- This position requires regular in-person interaction with the public.
- Repetitive hand motions.
- Prolonged use of the computer.
- Frequent sitting, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling.
- Moving small stacks of student files, boxes, equipment and other campus equipment.
