We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Services Associate to support daily mail and shipping operations in a professional office environment. This position is responsible for the accurate processing, distribution, tracking, and shipment of mail and packages while maintaining excellent service and attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, parcels, U.S. Postal mail, and interoffice correspondence.
- Collect and process outgoing mail in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using shipping provider systems and equipment.
- Track shipments and maintain accurate mailing records and logs.
- Perform data entry and maintain required documentation.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of mailroom and shipping supplies.
- Pick up and deliver materials and supplies to designated locations.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Support additional mailroom and administrative duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a mailroom environment, Fed Ex, UPS, shipping/receiving, or logistics operations preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive materials.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Can operate mail carts, hand carts, and flatbeds safely.
- $18.00 per hour
- Consistent Monday-Friday schedule
