Responsibilities
  • Schedule donor collection procedures in accordance with established timelines, service metrics, and patient care priorities.
  • Coordinate with internal workup specialists and external apheresis and collection centers to confirm appointment availability and collection dates.
  • Prioritize scheduling requests based on clinical urgency while considering donor preferences whenever possible.
  • Manage multiple concurrent scheduling requests and address conflicts through effective problem‑solving and collaboration.
  • Communicate scheduling details clearly and accurately to all stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with collection centers and healthcare partners across a national network.
  • Track, update, and manage scheduling information using various business and communication systems.
  • Support operational goals by ensuring scheduling activities meet established quality and performance standards.
Qualifications Required

  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Preferred
  • Experience in healthcare scheduling, patient services, clinical operations, transplant services, or donor coordination.
  • Knowledge of apheresis, cellular therapy, blood or marrow donation processes, or collection center operations.
  • Experience supporting time‑sensitive healthcare workflows.
  • Familiarity with healthcare‑related performance metrics and service‑level expectations.
