Summary:

The Indirect Strategic Buyer is responsible for executing procurement functions, establishing supply agreements, supporting procurement financial objectives, and improving supplier performance. Reports to the Procurement Manager. On-site role in New Brighton, MN.

• Ensure availability of assigned parts and minimize risk exposure.
• Support on‑time delivery through Supplier Quality Management and Dynamic Kanban systems.
• Support procurement team in supply chain financial objectives (PPV, DPO, OTD, and Funnels).
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers for continuous year‑over‑year improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.
• Maintain and monitor Item Master data; revise essential system planning data to ensure Axapta planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization.
• Effective negotiation skills.
• Self‑starter ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.
• 5 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Up to 10% travel, including international travel.

• Sound problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP or ISM CPSM certification.

Annual salary range: $85,000–$95,000. Eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
