Position: Temp Casual Blanket Posting - Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication

About the Job

The Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication (HSJMC) in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota occasionally needs temporary, part‑time employees to carry out various projects and provide support in administration, communications, community engagement, events, technology, and research. This is not a direct posting for a vacancy, but establishes a pool of applicants for openings during the  academic year.

Applications will not be acknowledged upon receipt and will only be reviewed when openings occur. Appointments may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance.

Responsibilities

The temporary, part‑time employees will carry out projects and provide support in administration, communications, community engagement, events, technology, and research.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: B.A. degree in journalism, mass communication, strategic communication/advertising, public relations, or a closely related field with an emphasis in journalism, mass communication, or strategic communication/advertising, or public relations.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $16.00 - $51.00 per hour, depending on education, qualifications, and experience.
