Global Travel Specialist

The Global Travel Specialist plays an important role in supporting and optimizing our global business travel program at APi Group. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day travel operations, supporting travel systems and policies, assisting team members with travel-related questions, and partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver a seamless travel experience.

The ideal candidate brings organizational skills, a customer-service mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role helps drive travel program efficiency, policy compliance, and a positive traveler experience while supporting broader business objectives.

What You Will Do
  • Support daily operations of the global business travel program in partnership with the Travel Management Company and third-party vendors.
  • Assist with monitoring service levels, contract utilization, and overall travel program performance.
  • Respond to team member inquiries and provide guidance on travel policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Administer and support the Concur Travel platform, including system updates, testing, and user support.
  • Help maintain travel policies and online booking tools to balance business needs with traveler experience.
  • Communicate travel program updates, process changes, and policy enhancements clearly and timely.
  • Compile and analyze travel data to identify trends, reporting insights, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvement.
  • Coordinate with travel vendors to resolve issues, enhance service, and support routine business reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and team members across the organization.
  • Support onboarding of new acquisitions and team members to travel vendors, tools, and policies.
  • Contribute to travel-related projects, process improvements, and change initiatives as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in travel coordination, administrative support, customer service, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, hospitality, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with travel booking tools, expense systems, or Concur preferred (not required).
  • Interest in learning corporate travel programs, including airline, hotel, and car rental partnerships
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Basic analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Benefits and Compensation

This role is based in our New Brighton, MN office. The salary range for this position is $51,, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance.
